High school has a variety of functions, but we think the most important is to train students for college and jobs. As a result, believe your teachers, counselors, and school administrators when they hold you to a higher standard in the hopes of molding you into competent and compassionate college applicants and, later, into contributing members of society.

If you choose to attend a public college or a private institution, a community college or a trade school, you will need to successfully meet basic qualifications in order to advance to a level of schooling that will help you reach your career goals.
